I'm not sure if there is conversion software directly from WindowsMedia... Usually you have to convert the original source format (usually Quicktime if the source was a DV Camera or MPEG).
Something like MediaCleaner might do it... Also a frame-server might, but the only one I know of, VirtualDub, doesn't do this with WindowsMedia. There may be a thousands tools that I don't know of of course... But if you have the original video it will make it much easier.
