I just did a short movie and it does indeed work very well.

However be prepared... My two minute, 4 meg WMV became an 18 meg MPEG1
file.

Just a tiny bit of bloat.  I'm not sure if Quicktime will convert from
WMV, but if it does it should be quite a bit smaller (both Quicktime and
Windows Media are based on the public MPEG4 standard... Heavily
modified, of course, but they're more alike than they'd like to admit).
