He's only going to be there for 3 days so sending cards, gifts and the like will
probably not be the best idea (at least not to the hospital). For those who

I just talked to him and he's in good spirits and taking it all well. He's even
playing solitaire on his Pocket PC. (As a side note, he's not supposed to get
calls in his room so while you may want to try to call you may not get in. I had
to get routed a few ways till I got in). For those of a Jewish persuasion who
wish to make a Mishebayrach for him (a prayer for the sick said publicly in Shul
during Torah reading), his name (and mothers name) is Benyamin Nachman ben Eyda
(ben means son of in this context). For those who wish to give prayers of other
persuasions that may need his fathers name, it's Zev.
