When the Matrix first came out, I went the day it opened and the theater

I remember watching The Matrix in the theater the first time and thinking,
"this is the next Bladerunner." By that I was thinking that it's both a
sci-fi movie with a great story and also that it was going to significantly
influence anything that came after it.
