Jeez, I am all of those (well not a ghetto exactly, but not well to do). I am not a peer? Should I feel slighted?

I just can't take out that much time when my primary responsibility is as mother. If I could be sure I would not be out for two weeks at a time, I would be happy to do it. My problem is: I feel that often juries determine innocence or guilt based on their biases, whether they like the people on trial, racial issues. Not fairly, based on the evidence at hand. I don't want to wrongly convict a person. I also don't feel that someone who grew up in a ghetto, who comes from a broken home, or who has never gotten a higher education is my peer.
