I was omw to being a "nuke" in the Navy. Took all of the tests that got me into the school etc, was about to ship off for BT and last minute thoughts caught me and made me realize that the military life probably wasn't for me. I regret it sometimes I guess. Seeing the world would have been great. But I think times like you see in these movies, full of heroes and excitement don't exist in quite the same way anymore. The things my Dad went through and experienced (good and bad) in the military, are a lot less likely now I think.
