I started trying to get in at 17. I didn't meet the physical requirements
until I was 23. I was always underweight, or they weren't taking GEDs or
some such. It was a long process. Almost didn't get there even after I was
signed up. I got hurt in infantry school. Split a bone in my foot. One of
my drills convinced me that I was ok to go to jump school. He had me do 14
laps around the half mile track while holding 2 5 gallon jugs of water. I
know it sounds crazy but in that one act he did more for me than I could
ever say.

I tried to be Airborne but couldn't pass the physical when I was inducted
into the military (I had a hernia).

The Army told me they didn't want me and sent me home :^(

... which was not far from Fort Meade where I was free to prey upon their
daughters.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

My dad was airborne in 62. He loved it!

Their will always be a reason to throw men from planes and put them on the
battle field in a quick fashion.

Nothing else beats it.
