Hrm water cooled might be the thing but i had a box from Kryotech years ago
probably 4 or so. A AMD 800 with sealed CPU which got down to -45 C to work
base ass mini AC unit in the base of the box. A very heavy case indeed.

Water cooled. Water cooled is about the top of the geek world now. If you
did something with that, or better yet freon (well whatever they use now)
from refrigeration sources. You would have a pimp box. Throw in some neon
and call it a day :)

You know... We could all come together as a community to put together
high-end fancy machines to sell to people like that.

There's a metal shop right across the street from where my father lives that
does a lot of engineering work, i.e. finished metal and polymer prototypes
that would be suitable to act as a case. I've seen their work, they have
built bodies for mopeds, gas tanks for Harleys, etc.

So we build these insanely cool cases, fill the boxes up with high-end
hardware, test each individual machine, get an industrial cooling unit
instead of fans, build some custom software to make people think they are
worth more than what they are...

And take in a 100% upcharge on each system.

Hmmm....

hehe, I know, I was waiting for you to say that! lol ...yanking your chain
as they say! :-)

but seriously every young male I know feels the same way you do... they are
all into these LAN parties and gaming and looking cool... and so do I! I
just can't afford the fancy stuff so I'd settle happily for the good
hardware in the plain wrapping!
