Islam and homosexuality is kind of a weird subject. In the military I have been to the middle east, and everyone I knew had made at least on trip. I had an NCO who had trained some of Jordans SF snipers. While they were training them the students were constantly hitting on the instructors. He was told that they considered men for fun and women for breeding.
I know in the Korea that it's very common in the military to engage in homosexual acts. It's often part of the hazing that KATUSA infantry troops go through there. Not sure if most of the people really WANT to take part in that though. My step mom tells me that homosexuals where honored inside the traditional tribal structure. Not sure why you would have special attention. You know I love this country like crazy, but sometimes I really wish it werent the damned puritans that got here first.
