no, you shouldn't install things, and about half the time you can't anyway.
This is annoying when you want to read a pdf and acrobat is not installed
for example. But that is another story.

I ask because my son likes this game called runescape (yes, it's online)
and some librarians felt he should not be playing it on a library computer.
