Personally... my kids use my computer (*when* they can get to it, lol) I don't filter at all and my kids are just not interested. Granted that they're a little young (11 and 13), I think not making it into something that they are "not old enough" to see keeps it from being somehow glamorous and lets it be seen as what it is, just a little silly.
