okay, so were the 12 who "didn't know" collectively dumbasses and an indication that our electorate is largely uninformed? Or was it simply a case of someone sticking a microphone in their face and saying "answer the question!" (or however the poll was taken). Is 15 a representative sampling? does this indicate that 20% of the populace is informed and 80% not?
See if these poll takers where to hand each takee [sic] a brief description and then asked a question about their opinion on the matter, that I think would have more weight. Of course, if the goal is to just randomly find out if somebody knows something, then I guess the poll could be considered accurate. Much like the argument that non-citizens do better on citizenship tests than citizens.
