It's not too late, and certainly that SCSI card can come in handy. I'm
hoping Bill's board can take the RAM I want to put in this sucker.

What I am going to do is keep pushing for parts today and tomorrow, and then
put up the specs of our creation on haggertech.com.

Maybe I'm too late but I have two 10MB PCI nics at home. I also have an
Adaptech SCSI card.

All right, now we have:

1) Bill's AMD 2500+ mainboard
2) Matt Small's dual head Matrox video card
3) Dana's modem
4) Jim's SBLive
5) Jim's Ethernet / Firewire card
6) Jim's 75 GB Hard Drive
7) Doug's case
8) Doug's CDRom
9) Doug's Floppy Drive

Now we need a chip for that mainboard. Bill, what kind of RAM does that
board take?

I have several cases that are surplus, all have CDROM and Floppy drives. but
in the interest of expediency, I will subscribe to donate the sum of $50 via
PayPal, should Michael agree to receive donations, and others will join in.
In this way, he does not have to play junkmeister, and can configure and
purchase the dream machine(s) as the case may be. I wouldn't even mind if
he clicked through to the Dell site via my web site, and I will forward that
commission to his as well.

Anyone else up for this challenge? I know the value of the knowledge I
personally have received from Michael is worth far more than that.

| We need to hear from someone with a case. Who has a case to build our
| machine with? Who is willing to put in $5 for a case?

| You can now get DVD burners for less than $200 - another option.
