I think you should be worried. Dont hurricanes have a way of hammering Myrtle Beach? It's one of the easternmost points of the coast, if I correctly recall the hurricane season I spent in Florida. South Caroline got hit pretty hard that year.
Me, I am in New Mexico; anticipated precipitation for the next six months is pretty close to zero.... I got my fill of storms last year in that flood in San Antonio.
