Hrm .. 28 days was a bit silly, could have been good but just didnt do it
for me
The Ring was good tho, plenty of nice touchs there.
Watch 'Donnie Darko' if you want a film with a good
wtf-happend-i-need-to-watch-it-again-type-ending.

WEll...I just got back from the.. *checks locks on doors*
Cinema and *Gets cutlass from cupboard and keeps it near*....I must say
the show was pretty good.
I mean..heh heh...didn't freak me out or anything..
*darts glances left and right*
Although there were some ....umm...edgy moments.
The idea was a good one, but I've never seen it done quite like that
before.
It really did a good job of commenting on human behaviour.
I didn't think it was that "scary" but I loved the movie. the premise,
based first upon man's attempts to control nature and second based upon
man's inability to control his own nature were very well done.
I never did see the second ending. but I'll wait for DVD.
I also like the fact that movie addressed my gripes. Often I'll be
watching a flick and although I enjoy it, I can't get a stupidity out of
my mind. In this case it was simply the fact ! that a disease that
virulent re ally couldn't spread very quickly. (For anybody that's not
seen the movie this is described within the first 60 seconds: a virus
that, once its makes blood contact, turns it's victim into a ravenous,
brainless zombie within 15 seconds.)
Later in the film a character expounds on those very thoughts - made me
feel good. ;^)
Generally I'm not "scared" by scary movies - at least not twitch fests
like this. I much prefer to be disturbed. I want something that will
rise up later in my dreams and freak me out. I love a good ghost story.
"The Ring" had a lot of those elements - if you haven't seen it, give it
a chance. "Dead Ringers" is one of the most disturbing movies I've ever
seen. Creepy. ;^)
