_he_ wasnt an action hero. Heck, we wasn't a typical hero at all. As for
the special effects, have we not learned by now that special effects
don't make the story - the acting/directing/writing makes the story. I
don't mind updated special effects as long as the story is good, but
PLEASE don't turn Dr. Who into some kind of action star.
