One of the weak arguments of supporters of the war. An attempt to appeal
to people's emotions by pointing out all the atrocities of Saddam.

Saddam's atrocities are certainly no worse or different than any of the
number of Dictatorships in the world. Do a search on Rwanda, the Ivory
Coast or even North Korea and see the atrocities of those regimes and
warring factions. For that matter take a look at China's human rights
record!

That was absolutely not a reason to take unilateral action and invade
Iraq.

Do you support the United States invading these territories as well? If
not , why not?

It also is not one of the reasons that are being pointed to as
indicators that the US should not have gone to war, and that Saddam was
not an immediate threat to the United States requiring a pre-emptive
strike.

North Korea is far more dangerous right now, this moment, in the present
than Saddam was at the time Iraq was attacked.

Also responding to another AMerican with a dissenting viewpoint with
what basically amounts to," If you don't like it then go live in France
" is quite contrary to the 'High American Ideal' of Democracy, and goes
against the American Constitution which demands that American Citizens
question their government and ensure honest and just governance.

I shudder to think what would happen to America if everyone that
disagreed with this war and the current administration, really did all
leave the country.

Let's forget the fact that Saddam harassed, tortured and murdered
people.
How many people do you have to kill before it becomes an atrocity?

The man deserved what he got. If you don't like move to France nobody
forced
you to live here...
