worst to protect the rights of the greater population. Yes, that means
sometimes someone who should be punished/incarcerated is let off on a
technicality, etc. But otherwise you start going down the slippery slope,
and you won't think the degradation of your constitutional rights is so
funny when it happens to apply to you.
