I really don't understand your point here. Any mention of harming a
president, even jokingly, will usually result in a visit/talking to from the
SS. That is not anything new, and I don't see how that fits in with the
rest of your email.
Of course, I assume you are referring to the incident way back when that
often gets mentioned. Or are you saying that we are now being monitored for
the kinds of discussions such as these going on here?

Just because we're paranoid doesn't make us wrong.
After 9/11 an untold number of US citizens "disappeared" and were held by
the government with no access to anyone including lawyers or family. The
government didn't deny that they were "detaining" people, but they wouldn't
say how many or who they were. Citizens. That's a direct violation of the US
Constitution.
This very list has come under scrutiny and Mike has been "interviewed" by
goverment agents for things said about the President.
