HoF correctly filters out the email addresses of the people that send the messages. It is up to the people sending messages to make sure that when they quote hundreds of large, irrelevant, useless, previous messages they reply to to filter them out.

Currently the search functionality is provided by Google. I wouldn't want to miss that. I would prefer if people finally grew up and started to remove all the irrelevant chatter from the bottom of their posts, because that also solves some issues in the signal to noise ratio in the current archives.
