Subject: Nintendo to launch new handheld device by end of year
They're calling it the Nintendo DS, and the gimmick is that it will have
two screens. Supposedly each 3 inch screen can be used for something
different, the example given was an overhead map view on one and a
closeup of a battle on the other. They are touting it as a 'new
direction' for portable game systems and something 'completely new' and
different from the gamecube or Gameboy advance.
No product shots or any other information yet.
