You have a point there. There was an article online a few days ago that
pointed to items we were still waiting on from CES 2002.


But the point is really that the company is pushing forward with this
model, and they seem to have it figured out. It definitely shows
interest by hardware developers and game makers for this type of
delivery of their product to consumers.


I wouldn't mind getting it.....but I don't have a broadband connection,
so for me there would need to be another way to distribute the games ;-)


500US to play PC games at high settings without worrying about anything
but playing the games? I'm for that!

Over the years, there's been lots of products shown at CES and other
trade shows, in physical form, with you to play with, that have never
made it to general customer distribution.  It's par for the course.
