Did they have cemented procedures?

I'm having cementless -
they tell me it will take 6 weeks for the bone to grow into the rough texture on the prosthesis, and that I cannot put weight on the leg in the meantime. Will learn more in the pre-op class.

either way, it's a short period of inconvenience for years of relief :-)
