I have a Samsung SyncMaster 191n here at work and it works great. The
network Admin here swears by Planar though. He is ALWAYS telling me they
make the most reliable LCD screens. But I think the Samsung would work
fine for you.

Hey Philip!

Well, I currently have a 19" CRT, and it's fine. So I guess I really
don't need a bigger one. I saw the Samsungs on buy.com. So they are
pretty reliable?

What you have to remember is that a LCD screen is "larger" than CRT of
the equivalent size

So, a 17" LCD is the equivalent of a 19" CRT
19" LCD is the equivalent of a 21" CRT

Do you NEED a larger screen?

There's something we found out by accident when buying our LCD screens

Several companies make "tilting" screens which turn 90 degrees to make
it vertical rather than horizontal - this gives you a MUCH longer screen
which is useful for stuff like your Email Reader, file lists, etc.

If you can find one of these, and you have the relevant graphics card,
it's WELL worth getting one - ours are Samsung

Just a few thoughts <g>
