yeah, i believe that the P4 requires a special power supply.  been about 2
years, but i bought parts for a P4 1.5GHz from a guy at work.  Couldn't get
the thing to post.

Apparently the P4 power supplies have an explicit connection to the MB that
older chips didn't have.

been a while tho...memory's kinda fuzzy (like my head)
