You know what, I admire any nation that gives its citizens so much
freedom they can shut down the entire nation any time they are not happy
about their salary.

In Kuala Lumpur, it is exactly the opposite. You join a union in prison
after you go to jail for 20 years for criticizing the status quo.

Where nations draw the line between personal freedoms and national
interests is always an interesting topic. I like to think that, despite
America's flaws, we do a better job than most in drawing the line.

What's more, in general when a particular union strikes in France,
sympathetic unions will stage strikes as well as was the case in June of

last year. When I arrived at Charles De Gaul airport for a series of
meetings in France there was an hour long queue for cabs because the
rail workers were on strike, as were the bus drivers. baggage handlers
and other transportation unions (general transportation stike) went out
while I was there and almost shut down the airports completely.

suuuuuuuucked!
