There is a lot of truth in way you say, and in my case it is even harder, because of my age. I get a lot of the "overqualified" rhetoric, which is my case translates to "you are too old and you cost too much". Fortuntely I found a contracting firm that looks at what I can do and not what I cost, and they keep me busy I'd be happy to hook you up with them if you're interested. You can let me know off-list.
