Objectives:

 Seeking employment as a server-side Java/J2EE developer.  Opportunity to
work with PHP, Python, or C++ also welcome.
Biggest priority is to work in a stable environment, preferably in the
NorthWest US.  Will also seriously consider telecommute/contract work.
Looking for 45-65k depending on area.

Work Experience:

 RADsoft (September 2000-present):
Server-side Java developer using JSP, EJB, Servlets, and Java Beans to help
construct an international e-commerce solution for Orbus Inc, using Oracle
as our DB. Built reporting software based on advanced XML/XSL  for the Orbus
project as well. Worked under a lightweight design process (XP) and
implemented extremely rigid and test heavy software. Also did some client
side HTML/Javascript. Work included some travel to Seattle to work with
independent consultants  and meet with clients. Also trained junior Java
developers, as well as interns.

 North Idaho College (Spring 2001 Semester):
 Intro to C++ instructor in college's CS program. Teaching students  basics
of OOP through C++ and  UML.

 Medinex Inc. (September 1999-September 2000):
Completed a number of projects for Medinex. Main area of focus was
server-side Java development using EJB's, XML, and JSP's for Practix, an ASP
based doctors' office management software.  Also was a lead
developer/designer of a large Cold Fusion/Spectra application
(www.medmarket.com) as well as assorted web work (HTML/Javascript) for
internal use and www.votenet.com clients. Used MSSQL as the DB in both
projects.

 Trained junior Java/Cold Fusion Developers for Medinex Inc.
 Voted employee of the month December 1999 for Medinex Inc.

Technical Skills:

 Java (2.5 years) :
 Advanced skills in all Java Core classes, as well as being skilled in  J2EE
components (EJB, JSP, Java Beans, Servlets, XML/XSL, JAXP,  JDBC). Also
familiar with GoF Design Patterns/MVC and advanced  OOP. Skilled with the
following Java development tools (Weblogic,  Tomcat, Jbuilder, Forte, Ant
build scripts, TagLibs, and Sun's JDK  tools.)

I have completed Sun Certification course for Java Programming Language.

 Databases (2.5 years):
 Experienced with MSSQL (1.5 years), Oracle (8 months), MySQL
 (1 year), MSAccess (6 months). SQL language experience (1.5  years). Used
advanced SQL for MSSQL (joins, transactions, views,  stored procedures).
Somewhat familiar with Database design concepts.

 Web Client (2.5 years):
 Advanced skills in all web client languages (HTML, Javascript, CSS,
XML/XSL). Skilled in Dreamweaver web authoring software, but have  mainly
hand-coded all client side work. Some web design experience; I  know basic
Photoshop and Fireworks.

 Other :
 Advanced Cold Fusion/Spectra/WDDX experience. I have basic  knowledge of
C++ (VC++ and GNU) and PHP, as well shell scripting.  Have good knowledge of
Unix as well a little NT administration.

 I have completed Allaire certification courses for Advanced Cold Fusion
Development and Spectra for Developers.

Education:

 ITT Technical Institute (ITT); (Fall 1999); studied Programming  Logic,
Visual Basic, and Database Design.

University of Idaho (UI); (Fall 1997-Spring 1999);graduated with a degree in
Art Education. Took a course in HTML and Internet basics at UI as well.

California College of Art and Craft (CCAC); (Fall 1994-Spring 1997); majored
in Visual Art.

Licensures:

 State of Idaho,Technology Competence in Education.

Idaho Education Credential, Standard Secondary Art K-12
