POSITION SUMMARY:
Easton, PA catalog and Internet cigar retailer seeks a creative,
detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our web
team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain four
enterprise-class web sites, using design expertise and technical knowledge to
achieve multi-channel retail marketing and informational goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Implement design features and develop functionality as marketing needs
change.
2. Research and communicate new functional/design ideas.
3. Design and modify UI to improve âease of useâ and increase revenue.
4. Web analytics (monitor and report web site traffic patterns, conversion
rates, click-thru streams).
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 2-3 years of web design/development experience.
2. Training in multi-channel retail marketing, SEO, SEM highly desirable.
3. Knowledge of ColdFusion MX Web Application Server, JAVA programming
(including JavaScript), HTML programming (hand coding), CSS, RSS/XML,
Macromedia Dream Weaver, and SQL Query Language.
4. Experience with dynamic websites and SQL Server/MySQL database integration
(IBM Informix a plus).
5. Willingness to update skills on a regular basis to keep abreast of rapidly
changing technology.
6. Experience in web graphics designs a plus.
7. Excellent time management and teamwork/collaborative skills required.
