We are currently looking for a proficient, fulltime ColdFusion developer with very strong SQL skills to join a small technical team in the Houston area. The right candidate will have strong systems architectural design, application development and interpersonal skills. They must be able to develop applications under set deadlines and communicate well with others, including clients, while working independently. Qualifications: At least 5+ years experience in systems design/analysis and web-based application development using ColdFusion. We seek someone with skill and practice in the design, development and maintenance of complex data systems implemented in ColdFusion 5.0/MX and SQL Server, not just the use of CF as a simple website interface builder. * Experience in the creation of content management, application publishing and/or code generation software is a strong plus. * A strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server with extensive database design experience including Transact SQL coding, Stored Procedures, query optimization. * Proficiency using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies. * Citable experience in every phase of the software development lifecycle * Extensive knowledge in shaping functional requirements and translating them into relevant technical requirements. * Experience with Design Frameworks and Methodologies (MVC Architectures), a definite plus * Knowledge of ColdFusion Components (CFCs), Object Oriented Programming (OOP extremely useful. * Excellent oral and written communications skills. * Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience,required.
