A leading global provider of online registration and meeting management solutions for Fortune 1000 companies as well as the meeting and event planning industry is seeking an experienced ColdFusion Engineer to join the team at our San Francisco headquarters. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: *3 or more years experience programming complex business logic in ColdFusion 6 or higher in an enterprise-level, high-throughput production environment * Extensive experience with use and development of ColdFusion components (CFC's) and integration of external Java components in an object-oriented CF architecture. * Significant experience with MS SQL Server, including query optimizations, RDBMS best practices, stored procedures, triggers and views. * Experience with iReport, CF Report Builder, or other reporting tools a definite plus. * Strong foundation and adherence to coding standards in related web application technologies (HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) required. * Solid web services experience a plus. * Familiarity with multiple procedural and OO ColdFusion development frameworks a plus. * Ability to take technical direction, handle multiple projects simultaneously and timely, pay strong attention to detail, adhere to established best practices and standards, prioritize tasks, and perform well in both a team environment and individually. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to recommend alternative solutions, determine trade-offs, perform impact analyses, and determine time estimates/levels of effort.
