seeking a Senior Programmer to work out of our College Park, Georgia location.. 
 Provides technical development and programming support for the LOGDAT Business 
Intelligence Tool.  The Senior Programmer works closely with system design and 
requirements development to ensure that a high quality product can be developed 
on time and budget.
 
Specific Duties:
 
•           Analyzes functional business applications and design 
specifications for functional areas such as payroll, logistics, and contracts..
•           Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts.
•           Translates detailed design into computer software.
•           Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the 
required product.
•           Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and 
user level documentation.
•           Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
•           Provides technical direction to programmers as required to ensure 
program deadlines are met. 
•           Creates and/or maintains operating systems, communications 
software, data base packages, compilers, assemblers, and utility programs.
•           Modify existing software as well as create special purpose 
software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
Qualifications
  
A Bachelors Degree and a minimum of five years directly related work experience 
is required.
 
Additional Requirements:
 
Knowledge of and hands-on experience with the following :
•     SQL Server 2005, T-SQL, SSIS, and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
•     Coding skills in ColdFusion, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, DHTML.
•     Active experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, 
PowerPoint).
•     Skills in Embarcadero EA Studio and ER Studio.
•     Ability to fluently read, write, and speak the English language..
•     Ability to document technical design clearly and effectively.
•     Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•     Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•     Ability to create project milestone documents that are achievable.
•     Ability to remain focused on delivering high-quality results on 
schedule.
•     Able to work independently and with minimal supervision, while keeping 
upper management informed frequently.

Sr. Software Developer-1000001027
Description
  
Put your years of experience into a future of excellence with CGI.  CGI is 
seeking a Sr. Software Developer (Lead ColdFusion v.8.0 Developer) to work out 
of our Dumfries, Virginia location on the OBMT project.  This is a leadership 
position.  The successful candidate will supervise two web developers, one 
database developer, and also one network administrator.  The Sr. Software 
Developer is responsible for allocating resources to meet customer objectives 
on schedule.  The successful candidate reports directly to the project manager 
and participates in weekly internal status meetings.
 
The OBMT project is a web-based financial and auditing application built for 
the United States Marine Corps Systems Command.  The tool allows users to 
manage budgets, expenditures, and invoicing, through a command budget module 
and reports module.  OBMT follows the software development life cycle (SDLC) 
development model. Therefore, knowledge of the SDLC is imperative for success 
in this position. 
Qualifications
  
A Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2-3 years directly related work experience 
is required.
 
Additional Requirements:
•     Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required 
for continued employment; U.S. Citizenship is required.
•     Advanced knowledge of ColdFusion v 8.0 is required. 
•     Knowledge of FLEX Builder is required.
•     SQL Server 2005 experience.
•     Familiarity with SDLC.
•     Mastery of MS Office 2007.
Preferred:
•     A Master's Degree (or some post-graduate work) is preferred.
•     DoD experience preferred.
•     Experience/Familiarity working with Marines or other branches of the 
military is preferred.
