In this key role you will assist with the planning, implementation, process improvement and support of business information systems across multiple channels. This position requires innovative thinking to develop solutions to support organizational goals. Working within a small MIS team, you will collaborate with all level within the organization and have the ability to make an immediate impact on the organization. SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Collaborate with other team members to specify system and process solutions to business objectives. - Make decisions on priorities, handling of critical situations - Work with internal and external resources to develop the effectiveness of Manage 2000 ERP system - Work with MIS Manager, MIS Team Members and Users to understand Manage 2000 ERP system as completely as possible. - Develop and maintain existing data warehouse, and determine and implement expansion/organization as needed. - Program custom applications to support business objectives when core system solutions are not possible. (web based, Access, VB, etc.) - Assist as back up for tech support for computer users throughout the company on any and all computer issues KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - AS Information Technology or related field, BS preferred - 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. - Experience with our primary development tools is preferred: these include Microsoft SQL, Dreamweaver, and ColdFusion - Work with internal customers and MIS team members to develop and support custom reporting, workflow management, Intranet and Internet systems. - Experience within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
