Fuel interactive is looking for a self-motivated, multi-faceted individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our web hosting environment with the assistance of our hosting company, support internal office systems, and assist with web application development in a growing, dynamic environment. The position will involve approximately 50% network management and 50% development duties. Our applications are built on one of three languages: Coldfusion, .Net, or PHP. The candidate does not have to be an expert in all three languages or server management, but itâs preferred they have experience in some of these areas. We are willing to train the right person. BS/BA in computer science or related field is preferred Desired technical proficiencies: * Strong understanding of networking, web server and database technologies * Windows Server 2003/2008, MS SQL Server 2005/2008, IIS 6/7, Desktop OS (Win/Mac) * Experience with web application servers such as Coldfusion, .Net and PHP * Capable of minor development and troubleshooting of web scripting languages such as Coldfusion, .Net and PHP. * Knowledge of clustering/load balancing technologies, security fundamentals, server side scripting, and PC/server hardware. * Knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance General skills: * Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position * Solid troubleshooting and problem solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to test and document your work * Self-directed "manager of one" * Juggle multiple projects simultaneously About us: Fuel Interactive is a full-service Interactive Marketing Agency.
