If you should be able to just delete the coldfusionmx7 directory. The
directory is left behind with any updated files. So clear it out, and
re-install.

Make any changes to your classpath by backing up your
cfmx_root/runtime/bin/jvm.config and then editing the original file. I
suspect your jvm.config got messed up. Since there were probably
updates to it in your original install - it may have been left behind
when you re-installed.

Subject: Install Problems

I just tried to install CFX_IMG on the server an it didn't work, what's
more
it created a mass of jvm errors in the logs. So I tried uninstalling and
reinstalling CFMX7 but it's not working :-( Does anyone know what the
best
way to remove CF and reinstall CF from linux? I tried the uninstall
script
but that didn't seem to solve the problem.

If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears....

best wishes,

      -= Ed
