If you should be able to just delete the coldfusionmx7 directory. The directory is left behind with any updated files. So clear it out, and re-install.
Make any changes to your classpath by backing up your cfmx_root/runtime/bin/jvm.config and then editing the original file. I suspect your jvm.config got messed up. Since there were probably updates to it in your original install - it may have been left behind when you re-installed. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling CFMX7 but it's not working :-( Does anyone know what the best way to remove CF and reinstall CF from linux? I tried the uninstall script but that didn't seem to solve the problem. If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.... best wishes, -= Ed -------------------------------------------- Edward Chanter Technical Innovations Manager Collaborative Connections Ltd. http://www.cc.uk.com/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] Landline: 01273 832221 Mobile: 07866 365282 YIM!: jumperb MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] AIM: edwardchanter -------------------------------------------- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 by AdobeĀ® Dyncamically transform webcontent into Adobe PDF with new ColdFusion MX7.
