Hi all,

We're now running CFMX 8 and for the most part it's working fine. A few weird
glitches with the CF Scheduler dropping tasks, but nice performance gains over
CFMX6.1 under load.

However, CFINVOKE and Web Services seem to be broken. On both of our RHEL 4
machines, I'm getting the following error whenever we use
<CFINVOKE>(webservice), or createObject("webservice"):

 coldfusion.jsp.CompilationFailedException: Errors reported by Java compiler:
jikes: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory .
Does anyone know if libstdc++.so.5 is supposed to be part of the RHEL4 release?
 Is anyone else seeing the above behavior on CF8? Any ideas on if the above is
our fault or CF8's?

I couldn't find anything in the release notes regarding having to install
anything on top of RHEL4 in order to get Web Services to work.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Regards
Terry
