An Apache server on Linux only needs about half the horsepower that a Windows machine does to achieve the same performance as well. I just recently set up a virtual machine with CF8 Updater 1 Beta 3 running through Apache on Ubuntu Server 7.10 x64. It runs great and I only needed to allocate 512MB of RAM for it. Dave
