I have tried html2pdf from the tag gallery.  I am not sure if this is the one that you have already.  It converts HTML Version 3.2 pages without using style sheet pretty well.  I use it to automate report generation.  It is pretty easy to configure and implement.

I purchased the ActivePDF suite many years ago.  Their tech support on getting it to work with CF was terrible.  It was just too complicated for me.  My impression was that it is a product geared more toward ASP.  ActivePDF might be better now.  It is not cheap.

Subject: [KCFusion] on the fly pdf

Im currently working on a project where im required to generate pdf files on the fly. The first place I checked for help on this is the macromedia tag gallery (or whatever it is called these days). I found a good tag except the html files seem to lose their formatting when converted to pdf. There were two others but complicated to use beyond my skill set. Anybody aware of a simple free solution?
