Too bad you couldn't go Ryan. I'm not going either. I decided to spend about $250 (instead of $2k to go to DevCon) and rely on three new books from Ben Forta (Reality Series: Flash Integration, Intranets and Content Management, and MX Web App Construction Kit) to learn how to use Flash Remoting and CFC's. I also bought the new ColdFusion MX book by John Cummings, called Inside ColdFusion - which is really a great book too. Together with the Macromedia Web site, I am starting to get the hang of it. I also built a Video Chat application with the Flash Communications Server. I video chat with my uncle Dennis in Dallas, Texas. He's a PHP programmer. Works great!! Maybe next year, on DevCon.
