So it would be something like this: > > 192.123.45.678:8500/foo/bar.cfm. > > What happens is that the dev version of CF keeps the ip address around > and will not let any other IP hit the server, UNTIL you restart. So again, thats provided that the machine that is running CF9 is either a server or allows connection from a remote desktop. All our pc's in the office as set up on a LAN, but I know nothing about setting pc's up to allow another pc to connect as a remote connection. We have an IT guy and I guess we'll have to get him to come in and set it up. Another scenario: what if I downloaded CF9 feveloper edition on the other two machines that will be performing data entry. Provided they are all connected through an FTP to our remote hosting server, that could work as well right? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-newbie/message.cfm/messageid:5074 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-newbie/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-newbie/unsubscribe.cfm
