If you copy the file to the network path, i.e.

\\machinename\directory

it should work as long as the CF service is running as a user that has
permission to write to that directory.
By default the service probably isn't.

HTH,
Matt

Subject: CFFILE ERROR

I am trying to run a cfile copy from a mapped network drive to a directory
on a IIS box but I keep getting this error.
Unable to copy file 'i:\W3svc3\ex001102.log' to path
'd:\wwwroot\admin\reporting\logdump1\ex001102.log'. Error: Access is denied.
(error 5).
