I've written my user management system and as they say... so far so good!
I have two methods of tracking passwords... one is fairly secure... it'd
take a qualified hacker to hack..
And the other is highly secure... but with this option, i can't do a forgot
password function..
My question is if you came to a site and joined it... would you prefer a
secured database thats virtually unhackable but you could never use the db
to remember your password or would you want it so that its about half less
secure but you can recover your password?
I'm leaning towards the completely secure.
Thanks,
Tony Hicks
