Here's my recommendation!

Don't do it!!!

You would be well advised to install your second processor and do a clean
installation of the operating system.

The documentation on UPTOMP.exe is less than adaquate.  If you get the wrong
settings with UPTOMP.exe then you are going to have to re-install the OS
anyway.

As far as I'm aware CF doesn't really have any issue with you having 1,2 or
20(he exagerates) processors, but NT will not make the second processor
available if the single processor kernel is installed and if you install the
wrong MP kernel it will blue screen on start-up.

If the server is not to go live for some time and you need to get working on
the server, then perhaps you could use this time before the second processor
is available to tinker with the set up of NT/IIS/CF etc. and then use the
arrival of the 2nd processor to flatten your machine and set it up cleanly
after a month of tinkering.. ;o)
