In windows 98 you have the option to disable hardware in a profile. All
these options are avail. when you right click on my computer and go to
system properties. You can set a profile for docked and undocked or home and
work......ect. First you have to copy the current profile and rename it.
After you do that next time you boot it will promt you for which profile.
>From there you can enable and disable hardware and what starts on boot. If
you use the nic at the home and office you might have to get a 2nd nic. But
I believe that you can ajust TCPIP properties depending on where you are at.
Have fun.
