The ISP that you use, wont relay email for the domain of
that specific users domain.
a Secure mail server on the web, will only relay for a
few domain.
The main reason is to block spam users relaying emails
with no valid "from" address throug their servers.
It can also be that you did not specify a FROM address,
in wich the email server will not relay to other mail servers for you.
Your only option is to find an ISP that has an open relay,
or always to use the same FROM address, and this must be one
that the ISP would relay.
If you have an existing mail account at the ISP, try using
that accounts FROM address.

Subject: SMTP problems
Having an interesting problem here.
I'm running a development box w/ CF4.5, and have experienced problems
getting the server to send mail via my ISP's SMTP box. CF Mail logs say
the server responds with a "we don't relay" message.
But, I can open a dos box and spoof email through the same server. So I'm
not sure why CF is having trouble sending mail. Anyone have any ideas?
TIA
