Ok, now that we've got that cleared up.  The original question was do the
Merant drivers offer additional capabilities?  Specifically, does the
dBase/FoxPro driver offer both read & write capability.  I actually have an
older NT4 server where I was stuck at using MDAC 1.5 (?) because a customer
has dBase files they needed to write to.  I'm guessing that the inclusion of
the Merant driver is to address the limitations of the Microsoft drivers.
If true, I wish I'd known and upgraded a long time ago.
