You can configure the JRun web server so that the web root directory is somewhere else: http://www.macromedia.com/support/coldfusion/adv_development/config_builtin_ webserver/config_builtin_webserver04.html I suspect you could also configure one Apache instance to talk to the individual instance, then add it to the cluster, then configure another Apache instance to talk to the cluster. I haven't tried that, though.
