I was recently working on an installation of a Cold Fusion server and this
was the first time that I installed on Windows 2003 x64. After getting
everything installed as 64bit code, I ran into a problem that some of our CF
code referenced legacy 32bit DLL's that can not be updated.
I went through the internet and found how to install 32bit Cold Fusion and
have it work with the 64bit IIS. Everything seems to be working fine right
now. My question is this, is there anything that I should be concerned
about in this configuration?
Processor: 64bit AMD
OS: Widnows 2003x64
IIS: 64 Bit Version with flag set to allow 32-bit code
Cold Fusion: 32bit installed
Custom DLL's: 32bit
As I said, everything seems to be working correctly right now, I just want
to know if this is a bad setup for a production enviorment since this is the
first time that I have done it like this. Normally everything is 32bit.
