I recently ran into a situation where we had two clients that both had
similar issues, where they would get a data page back with an error:
SQL Server Error 8179: Could not find prepared statement with handle
x

After doing some digging around the internet I found a solution that said to
set the "Max Pool Statements" of the data source to 0. Sure enough, after
making the change the issues went away.

Questions:
1) Is there really any advantage of not leaving it as Zero?

2) It is just odd that we have two clients that both ran into this on
separate servers near the same time, when the code has been working fine for
years. One client is on CF8 and the other on CF7. Is there something else
that might be causing this sudden problem?

3) What is your feeling on CFQueryParam? Do you use? Does it help? If a
query has it, then should all the variables in the query use it? From my
understanding, the code that uses it was originally written to use
CFQueryParam because we are inserting large ammounts of text into a TEXT
field.

Thanks for your thoughts and time...
