I manage some shared hosted IIS web servers running stand alone installs of CF
9. I want to move to an external multi-instance CF server configuration to get
high availability and load balancing. In testing, I found that I had to move
my .cfm application files to the CF instance directories on the external server
to get the pages to load.

My problem is that I have multiple customer sites running on my servers with
hybrid CFML, asp.net, and PHP applications. Also, my customers have no access
to manage their files on the external CF server. So moving the .cfm files is
going to prove to be impossible.

So, is there any way to run an external CF server configuration while leaving
the application files on the web server?
